In the actual conditions of economic crisis all the governments and people want to save energy and money.
The North Carolina governor, Beverly Perdue, proposed to invest more public money in private alternative energy startup companies, creating more jobs in green energy industry and making state government more energy efficient.
In Massachusetts, Rep. Edward J. Markey , chairman of twin energy panels, voted for the 21st Century Green High-Performing Public School Facilities Act, to make from Massachusetts a national leader on incorporating energy efficiency and green building techniques.
“The green generation needs a green environment to flourish. Combined with the Waxman-Markey clean energy legislation, this bill will help launch America into the clean energy future”, declared Rep. Edward J. Markey.
Also more then 200 companies have interests in energy efficiency, in their searches for the perfect biofuel—as cheap as fossil fuels, adaptable to today’s infrastructure, low-carbon, sustainable and no threat to the food supply or to tropical forests. The industry needs the support of banks, but “Banks are not willing to lend”, declared Arnold Klann, the CEO of biofuels firm Blue Fire Ethanol.
Event the Formula 1 want to embrace the “green culture”, but until now they are failing to implement the idea of regenerative braking – a technology that harnesses the energy picked up during deceleration from 200mph to 50mph for reuse.
