Economic crisis is good for environment
Seems bizarre, but according to news published recently in Western media, the environment would have to gain from the economic crisis. How ?
The policy of the president of the United States, Barack Obama, to help people to overcome the crisis has been defined by many analysts as a sort of a “New Green Deal”.

New Green Deal
It is a reference to actions, taken in the 30’s, by President Roosevelt, who because of the “New Deal” was able to relaunch the U.S. economy after the depression of 1929.
To get out of the crisis we need not only big structural changes and industrial policies, but also a change (evolution) in lifestyle and consumption habits.

New Deal
More specifically, according to estimates made by Societe Generale, an investment of 300 billion dollars in the form of tax subsidies in renewable energy sector could on one hand to relaunch the economy, on the other to bring tangible benefits to the environment. The first beneficiaries? Companies active in transport and logistics, construction and technology, basically the most affected by the crisis.
