Tips and Tricks – Bicycle Maintenance
The ATF-Acetone mix was a “home brew” mix of 50 – 50 automatic transmission fluid and propanone. Note the “home brew” was better than any commercialized product in this one special test. Their local mechanic group mixed up a batch and they all now utilize it with equally effective results. Observe also that “Liquid Wrench” is almost as effective as “Kroil” for about 20% of the price.
